Amended Timetables
Tiree Music Festival
An amended timetable will operate on Wednesday 8, Thursday 9, Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 July to accommodate the Tiree Music Festival.

Saturday 12 September
In order to accommodate the Mull Mòd, the following additional sailings will operate:
Depart Craignure - 21:15
Arrive Oban - 22:15
Depart Oban - 22:30
Arrive Craignure - 23:30
Livestock Sales
Due to livestock sales taking place in Lochboisdale, amended timetables will operate on 21 & 22 August and 21 September 2026.

Mull Rally 2026
Amended timetables will operate on Oban - Craignure during the period of Mull Rally 2026.
The amended timetable will operate on Wednesday 7, Saturday 11 and Tuesday 13 October.
Foot Passenger Bookings
Customers travelling as foot passengers are advised to book in advance to guarantee passage on chosen sailings.
Luggage Van
A luggage van will be available on this route for the following MV Isle of Mull sailings:
Depart Oban - 09:55, 12:15 and 15:55
Depart Craignure - 11:05, 13:35 and 17:05
Please place items in the van before boarding the vessel at Port of departure and collect after disembarking the vessel at Port of arrival.
Retail onboard MV Loch Frisa
There is a hot drinks and a cold drinks/snacks vending machine located onboard the vessel. Please be advised they accept card payments only.
Until Further Notice
Road re-surfacing is currently taking place on the Isle of Mull therefore, delays are to be expected. Please allow extra time for your travel to the port of departure.

Onward travel
Foot passengers disembark the vessel via the car deck after all vehicle traffic. Please allow sufficient time for connections when planning onward travel.

Lochaline-Fishnish
We have an alternative crossing to/from Mull via our non-bookable Lochaline - Fishnish service. This route is a turn up and go service and will be operated on a first come first served basis. Customers should be aware their preferred sailing choice may not be guaranteed. Further information on travelling on the Lochaline-Fishnish service can be found on our FAQ's page.
Alternative route bookings
If there is disruption or you wish to amend your Oban-Craignure booking to travel to/from Fishnish, please contact us on 0800 066 5000 or the local port office to amend your booking.
Turn Up and Go and Bookable route online purchases. If you have purchased tickets online as a group or for any number of travel companions, for use on any of our Turn Up and Go or Bookable routes, the full party must travel on the same sailing. This applies to both legs of your journey. If you are unsure if all members of your group are travelling together, please complete separate transactions online.
Connecting Services - For customers using connecting services please note these services do not always guarantee a connection, particularly during times of disruption. We advise that you check both CalMac and connecting service websites prior to travel to ensure you can reach your end destination safely.

Subscriber texts
To subscribe to live updates for a particular route text the words CALMAC and SUBSCRIBE along with the route code of your choice to 60030 e.g. "CALMAC SUBSCRIBE 11". This will automatically subscribe you to ongoing service information* relating to that route for a six month period.
