Ceòl Cholasa Festival
Due to Ceòl Cholasa Festival, an amended timetable will operate between Oban Colonsay and Oban Coll - Tiree.

Livestock Sales
To support livestock sales, amended timetables will operate on 15 August and 12 September

Tiree Music Festival
Due to a high volume of foot passengers and traffic travelling to and from the Tiree Music Festival, amended timetables will operate on Wednesday 8 - Friday 10 July & Monday 13 - Wednesday 15 July.
Please note normal service operates on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July.

An amended timetable will operate on 10 & 17 October 2026 to accommodate Tiree Wave Classic

CalMac Status app
Our CalMac status app is available to download from your usual Google and Apple app stores. Once downloaded, you can sign up to receive push notifications on your favourite routes. You can also view the timetable files for the route and date you have selected. Please note, the results returned will not be a ‘live’ picture of services at that time – instead, they are an enhanced, easy to read excerpt of the timetable. Please continue to check service status for the most up to date information.

Motorhomes and Campervans on Tiree
Argyll & Bute Council require that campervan/motorhome owners secure a pitch for their vehicle in advance of travel to the island. Please visit the Tiree Community Development Trust for details about campsites and croft pitches . Wild camping is not permitted on Tiree with any vehicle.
Turn Up and Go and Bookable route online purchases. If you have purchased tickets online as a group or for any number of travel companions, for use on any of our Turn Up and Go or Bookable routes, the full party must travel on the same sailing. This applies to both legs of your journey. If you are unsure if all members of your group are travelling together, please complete separate transactions online.

Subscriber texts
To subscribe to live updates for a particular route text the words CALMAC and SUBSCRIBE along with the route code of your choice to 60030 e.g. "CALMAC SUBSCRIBE 16". This will automatically subscribe you to ongoing service information relating to that route for a six month period.
