A82 GLEN COE GORGE, NIGHT TIME RESURFACING WORKS
BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be undertaking essential surfacing works on the A82 trunk road at Glen Coe Gorge, following the completion of rock slope stabilisation works.
Surfacing works are planned to take place on the night of Tuesday 2 June 19:00 for 4 nights, with all works being complete by the morning of Saturday 6 June at 06:00.
Due to restricted road widths through sections of these works, we have no option but to close the carriageway to ensure the safety of the workforce and members of the travelling public. The A82 will therefore be closed in both directions from 7pm to 6am. During periods of closure, amnesties at 8pm, 9pm, 10pm, 11pm,12pm, 2am and 4am will allow waiting vehicles to be escorted through the site.
Out with these hours traffic management will be removed, however, a reduced speed limit will remain in place as traffic will be travelling over a temporary surface.
