Due to planned vessel maintenance, amended timetable operate on the following dates:

During planned maintenance days the vessel will operate at reduced capacity. Customers are advised to book in advance where possible.

Due to service requirements elsewhere in the network, vehicle charter Miss Marley will operate in place of MV Loch Bhrusda on Saturday 3, 10 and 17 October -

A82 Inchree–Onich Overnight Roadworks Sunday 27 September - Thursday 15 October

BEAR Scotland will be carrying out overnight resurfacing works on the A82 between Onich and Inchree from Sunday 27 September - Thursday 15 October, with closures in place each night from 19:00 to 06:00 (no works on Friday or Saturday nights).

Impact on Travel

The A82 will be closed as a through‑route overnight, with traffic held until scheduled amnesty escort periods. These will take place at:

8pm, 9–9.30pm, 10.30pm, 11.30pm, 1am, 3am and 5am

Drivers arriving outside these times will be required to wait until the next amnesty.

Overnight Road Closure A82 between Firkin Point and Inverarnan

BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be carrying out overnight carriageway maintenance works on the A82 between Firkin Point and Inverarnan from 17 September to 4 November 2026. Works will take place between 19:00 and 06:00, with no works planned on Friday or Saturday nights.

During parts of the programme, overnight road closures and diversion routes will be in place between Tarbet and Crianlarich.

Customers travelling to and from our services are advised to allow additional time for their journey during the works period.

Ticket Information

Day return tickets are not always possible on this service – due to the nature of this timetable, and check in requirements it is not always possible to travel to your specified island on a day return. Please check the timetable for details. Non-landing cruise ticket for Small Isles are not available on this route. View more information on travelling to the Small Isles.

Vehicle Permit

If you are taking a vehicle, you must have a permit to travel. Travel should be arranged with the Mallaig port office.

Turn Up and Go and Bookable route online purchases. If you have purchased tickets online as a group or for any number of travel companions, for use on any of our Turn Up and Go or Bookable routes, the full party must travel on the same sailing. This applies to both legs of your journey. If you are unsure if all members of your group are travelling together, please complete separate transactions online.
