Due to operational reasons, we have published an amended timetable.

To support planned maintenance, throughout this timetable there are fewer morning sailings every Sunday. The previously published timetable including earlier and later sailings will not operate due to current crewing restrictions.

The enhanced timetable is expected to be reinstated before the end of the summer timetable following the completion of additional crew qualifications.

During periods of significant disruption, we will continue to prioritise additional Sound of Barra request sailings where possible.

Additional sailings

As a result of a new summer 2026 timetable for Ardmhor - Eriskay, during periods of significant disruption we can operate additional Sound of Barra request sailings. This will support with capacity for customers travelling to/from Lochboisdale and Castlebay. We will update the Ardmhor – Eriskay Service Status Sailings tab when they are available to be requested.

Winter Timetable 2026/27

Community consultation for the winter timetable for this route, for the period 19 October 2026 - 25 March 2027, is ongoing. We will provide an update on the publication date and when reservations will as soon as possible.
