Bute Info

Monday 10 and Wednesday 12 August

To accommodate customers travelling to/from the Bute Agricultural Show an amended timetable operates.

View the amended timetable operating Monday 10 and Wednesday 12 August.

Wednesdays until 18 October

Throughout the summer 2026 timetable there are fewer afternoon sailings every Wednesday. This allows us to carry out pre-emptive maintenance and care to the vessel, carrying out the tasks that cannot be done when in service.

Please plan ahead before you travel.

A8/A78 roadworks

Due to extensive roadworks on the A8/A78, road closures and diversions are in place until July 2027.

Passengers travelling to or from the port are advised to check with connecting bus services for any timetable impact, allow additional travel time and follow local diversion signage.

View the Inverclyde Council website for more information.

We have an alternative crossing to/from Bute via our non-bookable Colintraive-Rhubodach service.

This route is a turn up and go service and will be operated on a first come first served basis. Customers should be aware their preferred sailing choice may not be guaranteed.
