Due to a technical issue with MV Miss Marley, vehicle charter MV Spanish John will operate to the published timetable during MV Carvoria’s annual overhaul.

Car parking

Parking at Gallanch port is very limited. If travelling as a foot passenger, please plan ahead and leave your vehicle in a safe location.

Pre-purchase your travel on this route

All vehicle passengers are required to purchase tickets from Oban Ferry Terminal prior to travelling.

Foot passengers that are not able to pre-purchase online, must purchase tickets from Oban Ferry Terminal prior to travelling.

Groups of 10 or more passengers

Please contact the Oban Office on 01631 700506 (option 2) to advise prior to travelling.

Toilet facilities

Please be advised that there are no toilet facilities onboard MV Carvoria or at Gallanach or Kerrera port. Customer toilets are located in the Oban Port terminal building on the ground floor which is approximately 10 minutes by car from Gallanach.

Weight ticket for larger vehicles

All vehicles over a standard car/pickup must present a weight ticket prior to being accepted for boarding. This must be obtained by visiting the Oban Ferry Terminal (Railway Pier, Oban, PA344DB) where you will be weighed and issued a copy of your ticket.

Turn Up and Go and Bookable route online purchases. If you have purchased tickets online as a group or for any number of travel companions, for use on any of our Turn Up and Go or Bookable routes, the full party must travel on the same sailing. This applies to both legs of your journey. If you are unsure if all members of your group are travelling together, please complete separate transactions online.
