MV Alfred is operating services to/from Troon
Until Sunday 18 October
MV Alfred will continue to operate the Troon – Brodick service until Sunday 18 October with an amended timetable.

There is no hot meals service on onboard MV Alfred. However, there is a cold drinks/snacks vending machine located in the passenger lounge that accepts both cash and card.
Refreshments including hot drinks and snacks are available from Troon port. Cash and card payments are accepted.
MV Caledonian Isles operates the published summer timetable on Ardrossan-Brodick.
MV Glen Sannox
MV Glen Sannox will be berthing in Brodick. The vessel will be carrying out essential maintenance and trials at Troon over the next few days. The vessel is not in operation and the amended MV Alfred timetable is not impacted.
MV Alfred Vehicle Customers
MV Alfred can accommodate all types of vehicles, with the exception of motorhomes over 6 metres or any vehicle towing a caravan. If you are travelling in a motorhome of any size, please make your booking via our Customer Engagement Centre or port of departure. Any customers with a motorhome over 6 meters must travel on Ardrossan-Brodick or via our Claonaig-Lochranza service.

Our CalMac status app is available to download from your usual Google and Apple app stores. Once downloaded, you can sign up to receive push notifications on your favourite routes. You can also view the timetable files for the route and date you have selected. Please note, the results returned will not be a ‘live’ picture of services at that time – instead, they are an enhanced, easy to read excerpt of the timetable. Turn Up and Go and Bookable route online purchases. If you have purchased tickets online as a group or for any number of travel companions, for use on any of our Turn Up and Go or Bookable routes, the full party must travel on the same sailing. This applies to both legs of your journey. If you are unsure if all members of your group are travelling together, please complete separate transactions online.

Subscriber texts
To subscribe to live updates for a particular route text the words CALMAC and SUBSCRIBE along with the route code of your choice to 60030 e.g. "CALMAC SUBSCRIBE 41". This will automatically subscribe you to ongoing service information relating to that route for a six month period.
